Just think of the impact of another "I'm alive" tape from this guy. Gladly that's not the case. Arguably, the mere fact the "War on Terrorism" was declared then and there and all the efforts made could only infer a positive message. Regardless, whether or not a symbolic meaning flows from the achievement is immaterial should one consider the broad picture. The fight against terrorism is only at the beginning. A real achievement, in my opinion, would be to increase worldwide awareness, although it may seem for some that this is granted per se, it is not.
